Online Crop page done

Here is a page I got done at the crop tonight. Thanks to all my little helpers (you know who you are!)

My Grandpa Page

I had a picture of my grandfather from around Christmas time in December 2006. I wanted to make it a little bit of a memory of him and something he does. So I thought about it for awhile and decided to put one of the main songs he used to sing to us while driving in the car to visit my dad in Eastern Idaho. The words of the silly song are:

I met a lass bon a lass
I loved her very well.
Her name was Sally Johnson
and mine was Henry Bell
I went to see her the other night
her folks they felt quite drum
they said if they caught me there again
they'd shorly kick my
sita fa lar a lor a lar a tita far lar a lum,

Well, she and I we planned a scheme
a ladder for a 'scape
We placed at the window
and it seemed to be just the thing

They took me to the doctor and there

So here is the completed page. It is okay, but didn't turn out exactly as I had hoped. Oh well, I guess I can always redo it later if I really don't like it that much. But it is done for now.

S2L Challenge 6/14-6/21

This week's challenge was to do a religious page (wedding, baptism, confirmation, etc) or use a ribbon/fiber or of course to scrap anything. I chose the ribbon one because I was working on this page and absolutely knew it needed rick rack to go on it! So I made a trip to Joanns to get some and then completed the page. I also plan on doing a religious on later. But here is my ribbon page! The title is "I Caught the Gingerbread man" (in case you can't read it from the picture).

S2L Challenge 6/6-6/13

This week's challenge was to create an "imperfect" layout. No measuring, no rulers, no paper cutters! I don't know if this is actually okay, but I used scraps that were already cut so I didn't use the paper cutter on them TODAY, but they had been used previously. lol If not, then it is my scrap anything. Anyway, this was at a family party. Cute kids, my cousin's children (and my aunt in the bottom picture).

S2L Scrapbook Challenge 5/30-6/6

This week's challenge was my idea once again (boy sometimes I am pretty creative! lol) Since it was Memorial Day this past week I thought of three challenges and then we could pick any or all!

1. Red, White and Blue

2. Military

3. Picnic

4. Of course scrap anything

I wasn't sure exactly what I was going to do but I knew I probably had something for each of them. So I went to my CDs and found last year's 4th of July pictures! So I did the Red, White and Blue challenge. I think they turned out pretty great if I do say so myself! Oh yes, BTW they are digital pages! Still practicing!

12 on the 12 for May

Here are my May 12 on the 12 pages. Hey Denice, do you notice something familiar? lol This also goes with our S2L challenge of using neon colors to scrap. I really like this new paper pack I got because it puts colors together I never would have and it forces me to step outside my box!

Picture Swap

We had a picture swap and exchanged pictures. Then I did a scrapbook page with someone else's pictures and they did a scrapbook page for me. Sandy and I exchanged pictures. I think the pages turned out beautiful! I keep going back and looking at them over and over. She got exactly what he loves (and would dream about!)--CARS! Thanks again Sandy for the wonderful job you did!
