S2L Old Challenge Pages-Dec and Jan

1/24-1/31 Challenge

The challenge was to create a sports themed page. I think it turned out really great! Tye is so cute when he kicks the ball because he always sticks his tongue out!! (Just like Kevin when they are concentrating!)

1/17-1/24 Challenge
The theme for this challenge was Snow. Since it was January and snowy and cold pretty much everywhere we were supposed to scrap about it.

Tye and I had gone to NJ and PA to visit our dear friends Mary and Jack. We stayed the first night at Mary's son's house outside of Atlantic City. He took us down to the beach to see the lights of Atlantic City at night. However, Tye thought it was snow, not realizing it was sand. He proceeded to bend down and pick up a handful of "snow" or sand as we call it!! lol He was too cute. Even though we told him it was sand, he still did not understand. Oh well, it was fun anyway.

The 1/10-1/17 Challenge will be included in another post.
1/3-1/10 Challenge

The challenge was to scrapbook some pictures of Christmas. I chose to scrap our tradition of reading the Spider of the Ukraine story and then putting the spider ornament on the Christmas Tree.

12/27-1/3 Challenge

For this Challenge since it was going to be a new year we were supposed to either do something about us or what our goals were for the new year. I created 100 Things I Like and 25 Things I Dislike. (I couldn't think of 100 things I dislike. And I am grateful for that!) I also created my first pages in my weight loss scrapbook. But since that one is for me, I am not sharing! lol

We decided to take a week off of challenges for Christmas.

12/13-12/20 Challenge
This was where it all started with the S2L Weekly Scrapbook Challenges! The theme was to take pictures of your house, your walls, furniture, decorations, etc. So I decided to Do "It's Beginning to Look A Lot Like Christmas!" There is the picture of the boxes of decorations waiting to be put up. Then we have pictures of us decorating the trees. And finally pictures of the done product! "From this...To This!"

We are missing in this page the Jesus Tree in our bedroom (but it just didn't fit on the layout). I guess it will have to be it's own layout some day!
