Here are the directions for that one:
STEP 1
#1 Pick One large photo and change it to black and white or sepia and if you want leave one part of the photo in color
STEP 2
Choose 3 papers; 1 pattern and two solid. Use one solid as your background. Place your photo on your page taking up more than 1/2 of the space on your page...it should be BIG
STEP 3 Your second solid should border your photo AND stick out several inches on one side
STEP 4 Add your title (using both a cursive and printed font) to the paper that is exposed beyond your photo.
STEP 5 Use your pattern paper as a second border or accent anywhere under your photo
STEP 6 Create a cluster that includes a date or other small journaling and place it on a corner of your photo
STEP 7 Add stiching along one side of your photo, add shadows and upload to the gallery and forum
Here is what I came up with:
Then as the first one was finishing up the hostess showed up and so she said she would do a second one right then! lol So it all worked out!
Here are the instructions for that one:
Step 1: Choose 2 papers, 1 patterned for the background, 1 plain/cardstock/texture for top, make smaller than first paper.
Step 2: Choose 2 photos, stack them so they are both visible, but one is behind the other. Mat/frame/stroke both photos.
Step 3: Now fasten the photos to the papers. Use what works for you: stitches, staples, brads, etc.
Step 4: Cut a patterned paper into a shape, place behind the 2 photos (centered) Add 2 ribbons/ricracs/strings/etc. (not 2 of each..just 2 of any..or 1 of 1 and 1 of another..)
Step 5: Add 9 elements, including a tag w/date.
Step 6: Add a title. Use 1 alpha, 1 script font & 1 print font.
Step 7: Add your shadows, any journaling or extra elements, save, upload to gallery & link to this thread!
And my LO!

The pictures in both of these layouts were actually taken the same day. He is was playing around in the computer room. First he said "take my picture" so I took the first one and then he wanted to be a monster and I thought his facial expressions were too cute so I took the second ones. :-)
