Homespun Christmas by Shel Belle Scraps

The Stuff to Scrap blog train for December has left the station. Here is a preview of Shel's portion. I love the elements she chose!! It made it soooo easy to create two LOs. I actually was creating another one, but then participated in the speed scrap tonight at Stuff to scrap and ended up using the same picture and papers I was going to use, but made a different LO than I had originally planned on. But it was fun and turned out just as cute!!

Here are my LOs. This was last year when we were putting up the Christmas lights.
Isn't he just adorable????? I cannot get enough of my boy! lol

So run over to Shel Belle's blog and get this adorable kit and hop on the train to get the rest of the pieces!

Angels and Fairies by Bits N Bobs

Bits N Bobs has a new kit out called Angels and Fairies. It is cute for all those fantasy layouts or for little girls who love to be angels or who are angels! So here is a preview of the entire kit.
And my LOs. This first one is pictures of the ONLY and I mean ONLY trees I found last year that had ANY change of color! lol Yeah we don't have many colors in Florida besides green! ROFL
This is my brother and his family at the blessing of their baby girl Quynn.

And this is my favorite LO of the batch! I LOVE how I was able to create another one of those realistic LOs. This is of my niece when we were at the Dinosaur world in Utah. There were some ducks in the bushes and she squatted down and was trying to see where they went. It was super cute and our first real connection. :-)

I am sure you can do even more creative things with this kit!!! So run on over to Julie's blog and get this kit!

Spinky Dink Scraps Kit LOs

Spinky Dink has a couple of new kits out right now. They are FABULOUS!!!!

First up it was her daughter's 2nd birthday so she created a birthday themed kit called Celebrate with Me. It has great colors that are not so bright and can be used for both girls and boys!!! Here is a preview of the entire kit.

And my LOs. This was Tye opening his birthday gifts this year. I love this LO (I must admit I scraplifted it)!!

The second kit is called Potty Like A Rock Star! Isn't that so fun?! I have been WAITING for a potty training kit! I have TONS of pictures for this and was just waiting to find a kit that wasn't entirely pastels! What 3-4 year old boy wears pastels???? lol That is all they used in the few potty training kits I could find. So I was THRILLED to see that there were reds and blacks and greys in this kit! WOOHOO! lol So here is the entire kit preview. It is by both Spinky Dink Scraps and Simply Scraps.

Here are my LOs. This first one was Tye teaching Dora how to go pee-pee in the potty!
And this second one is him in his big boy underoos! lol He LOVED his big boy unders and he wanted to see the picture (on the back) so he put them on backwards! lol Of course you can't entirely see it, but I have done it because of the sickos out there.

So run on over to Spinky Dink's blog and find out how you can purchase this kit!

Dusting off the Cricut

So within the past month I have used my cricut twice!!! WOOHOO! That is after not having used it for oh probably six months or something! lol

I decided I was going to use it to make SOMETHING to put on our Halloween invites. So I broke out the Paper Doll Dress Up and ended up making a frankenstein and a skeleton. I think they turned out adorable! Tye was "helping" me make them and asked me, "Are you making naked boys?" lol I said, "well yes right now, but I am going to be putting clothes on them."

Then I signed up for a Christmas tag swap on the Cricuteers team at SparkPeople. I did not realize they were going to be due by the first of November or else I would have never signed up. But it sounded so interesting and everyone was talking about it that I wanted to participate! I felt a little in over my head (first with the other crazy things I needed to get done before the first of November and the anniversary album I was working on). So Sunday night I sat down and decided to get them all done. It took me about two hours and they were done and I was proud of them. So on Monday I was going to package them up and send them out. When I began reading the post I almost started to cry. I had made the tags 2 inches on the dial and when I read the post it said they were supposed to be 3 inches "no bigger and no smaller" OH CRAP!!! Now what do I do?! So unfortunately I remade all 20 of them at 3 inch. So I have 20 2 inch stocking tags if anyone wants to use them on their Christmas gifts! lol I did not think that I could have made actual tags at 3 inches and glued the stockings on them until right now. Oh well they are done and in the mail as we speak.

Here is a picture of the 2 inch tags, I forgot to take a picture of the 3 inch tags and since they are exactly the same except just 1 inch bigger I didn't think it was a big deal.

Here are all 20 of the 2 inch tags! lol I used the Doodlecharms Cart.

So what do you think? I hope everyone likes the tags and doesn't think they are too plain, but these two projects are really my first piecing projects. Everything else I have cut out I have used as is or it was a title/font. I am proud of myself!
