100 Days of School by ShelBelleScraps

So I have gotten another fun kit to play with from ShelBelleScraps! (Please see her blinkie at the right to go to her blog!) It is for one of the other CT member's named Ginger. She is a school teacher and February 3rd is her 100th day of school. Shel created a cute little kit in honor of it. So here is my LO with this kit!
You can begin collecting this kit tomorrow night (Sunday). So run on over there and snatch it up! :-) Here is the full preview of the kit.

A Kit Made for Me!!!

Hey so I have made a new friend and have helped her to become a fellow Sparker (yes, my weight loss website http://www.sparkpeople.com/.) She is also a digital scrapbook designer, which is how I found her and then she joined spark from one of my posts.

ANYWAY, she has such earthy, realistic tones to her scrapbook kits, that I thought she would be the perfect person to create a kit with sunflowers for me. As many of you know I am a sunflower fanatic. My entire kitchen is sunflowers. Part of my living room is sunflowers and if my DH had allowed it so would our bedroom, but he won't so it isn't! lol (At least not yet! lol)

So without further ado, here is MY kit!!! Yep, the kit is called Michele's Sunflowers!!!! If you like Sunflowers, go grab it up!

Please leave her some comments on this great kit and check out the rest of her blog for other terrific down to earth, rustic kits. They are terrific!

Thanks Barbara!!! You did a wonderful job and no you did not disappoint at all! Now that the company is gone, I might actually be able to make something with this kit soon! lol

I've been tagged

Oh boy, Denice tagged me. So here we go.

You are supposed to go to the 6th folder and the 6th picture. Well I had a bit of a problem with this to begin with! lol The first folder #6 was one I guess some program put on my computer. It didn't have anything in it. So then I went on to the next one which was actually some pictures of Amy's little girl that I did a LO of but never deleted off my computer (I have deleted them now). So on to folder #6 the 3rd time! lol This is what I came up with:

This is a picture of my nephew, Christian, who was being a little old granny for Halloween in 2007. Pretty funny! He even has the over the eyeglasses look down. lol

So now I am supposed to tag 6 people....ugh, I really hate doing this, but here goes.

2. Marilee http://garbisonfamily.blogspot.com/

For the Boys Kit by ShelBelleScraps

I had to rush to get this done early because we have friends coming in out of town. I love having boy kits, since that is what I have! lol I suggested the "boys will be boys" word art, as I totally felt like that is what this page needed and was....a bunch of silly boys being boys! lol This is the box our new mailbox came in and I don't recall the circumstances as to why they decided to put it on their heads other than just plain being silly. Either way, it is funny! lol
This is from ShelBelleScraps. The kit will start on Sunday. So stop by and pick it up! You can click on her blinkie to the right to be directed to her blog. I hope you like it too!

S2L Challenge 1/12-1/18

This week's challenge was to use Blue and white on our pages or to use a ribbon. Well I decided to do both (sort of, it is a bow, made with skinny ribbon I guess, since it is digi I can't confirm or deny this fact!!! ROFL!)! When I was first thinking of blue and white I was thinking light blue and I couldn't find any pictures to go with it. And then I realized, "hello, she didn't say LIGHT blue and white! I can do dark blue and white!" UGH! Sometimes I cannot get of the box I create in! lol Luckily, this time I was able to!!! lol So without any more rambling, here is my LO.

This was made from a kit by Carolyn at http://www.digicyberscraps.com/. It is a freebie kit called Winter Bliss! I love all the different papers in the kit and had to use as many of them as I could (and let me tell you I probably didn't even use a quarter of them!)

Fly Me to the Moon kit by SpinkyDinkScraps

Well I was on a roll today! I actually got these pages done today also! This is a cute little sleeping kit put together by SpinkyDinkScraps! I loved the colors and so many of the elements. You should have seen my bin on PSE! lol I think I opened just about every element there was! lol Anyway, I had some pictures picked out, but I really didn't like them because DS was always wearing a red shirt (yeah between Thomas and Lightening McQueen and SpiderMan we have an awful lot of red pajamas! lol). So today while he was taking his nap I snapped a couple of pictures of him sleeping (he has his school shirt on! Still a little bright, but much better than the red! lol) Either way, I still love the pages, especially all those elements, did I mention that already???? ROFL!!!! Enjoy!

Here is a preview of the kit called Fly Me to the Moon. The kit will be available in both Full Size ($3.99) and Tagger ($2.50). Both will be on sale in her shop for $1 for the first week they are out. Please check out her blog at http://spinkydinkscraps.blogspot.com/ for more information!

Hope Kit by ShelBelleScraps

She has created another great kit. Partly in honor of the Inauguration, but just a patriotic type kit in general. I used mine sort of in a patriotic way, but much different than those usual 4th of July or Memorial day photos. This is the day we adopted our son!! What a wonderful day it was. And also as a side note, my sister just finalized the adoption of their little boy on Monday January 12th. So funny that I choose to use this as my LO for the kit at the same time of their adoption. I really didn't correlate them together until after I did this and remembered about my sister! We are so glad to have him as part of our family. (Both boys actually!) So here is my LO for Hope the kit by ShelBelleScraps.
The kit will be available starting on Sunday evening. So check out her website then to start downloading it!!! http://shelbellescraps.blogspot.com/ And here the preview of the kit!
