This one has a pop dot behind the circle, even though you can't really tell. (Made 2 of these.)
This one I cut out that blue star from another piece of the paper and put it on top of the one that is on this piece with a pop dot and then stamped the star with the cupcake! :-) (Made two of these.)
Not much to say about this one...lol But I made two of these! lol
The flowers are held together with a brad and then put on with a pop dot....do you think I was liking the pop dots or what?! lol
This is a cupcake sticker my friend had and she let me use. No pop dot, it was the first card I made and she hadn't broke out the pop dots yet! lol
I used the butterflies I had. I think I got them as part of a scrapbook kit I got through Avon or ABC, but not sure. I think they turned out great with this card. And the ribbon has little flowers on it....you can't really see it very good unless you click on the picture. (Made two of these.)
And then this card I made all by myself, I kindof scraplifted a card my friend Karrilee made and turned it into this one. Mine isn't as cute as hers, but I think it is pretty decent! lol This was for my friend Amanda for Christmas (of course, lol)
So there you have it, my first solo attempt at making cards. Not too shabby. Now we have to get together again to make a bunch more. This time though I want to use my cricut to make a few shapes and I think I can use my sizzix to make a few also. But I definitely need to get a move on as 10 cards will barely get me though February and at least one of them is a younger kid so these cards really won't work that great. So yeah, I need to work on that again in the next two weeks I think. We'll see.

Hello
This is Farmgirl in WV (from Sparkpeople) Just thought I'd check out your blog.
I think your greeting cards you made look great! They look more like the work of a seasoned pro than that of a first attempt!
Brenda
Lovin' the cards! Isn't it great to be back with the hands-on approach...at least for a few minutes?!! LOL!
I think you may have found something to use up all those scraps!
Michele - those are great!!! Awesome job for your first card making...I may have to steal some of these ideas!
