Rock Star Birthday kit by Shel Belle Scraps

Shel has a new kit coming out today called Rock Star Birthday. It has lots of fun elements for those Guitar Hero pics or any other musical pictures! Go to her blog to get the papers today and the other portions through out the week!
Here is my LO. The kids got some Disney tunes toothbrushes for Christmas from my parents and they all were listening to them and dancing around the living room with the toothbrushes up to their ears. It was funny and fun!

What I got done at the crop today 042409

So the chat room was back up, but I still made it productive (especially considering I spent 2 hours on ONE page....see post below. I am very proud of it but wish it wouldn't have taken so long! lol)

Anyway, I decided to continue working on the month in review pages. So I completed both January and February 2009. So that is all caught up now (I still need to finish Sept-Dec 2008, but that isn't going to happen, I still cannot force myself to do paper scrapping! I may never get things caught up if I don't find my paper mojo soon!)
Kit is Dreaming of Spring by Spinky Dink Scraps

Kit is Love Bug by KMILL (Sorry there is no TOU in the kit so I don't really know the name of the designer, I just know these are the initals on all the portions of the kit).

This page is from when we went out to dinner and DS WANTED a lemon. We told him he wouldn't like it but he still wanted it. So I took out the camera and let him have it! lol

Kit is Primary by Kimmie's Keepsakes
My hubby playing chess. He loves it (took me about 30 mins to find a good kit. I found a few kits, but they weren't any good for a guy! lol Girl, yes, but not for a guy! lol) I love how it turned out!
Kit is Chess. Again no TOU or anything else with the designers info on it--if it is yours please let me know! lol

And with these and the next post March 2007 is done (except for some potty training pics that I need a good kit for! lol And I think I have someone working on that for me if I ever get back with her! lol Sorry Shel I promise I will! Crazy week!)

I LOVE IT!!!!

Okay I had to post this one right away!!! I totally LOVE how it came out!!! I have seen this done before with the pic as the background and soooo wanted to try it. Well I also am trying to finish my March 2007 pages so I decided to give it a go with this. After asking Karrilee, trying, looking for other tutorials and feeling like it really didn't work but doing it anyway I also decided to do a torn paper in front of it. So again I went in search of a tutorial...I had already saved 4 of them, but only 1 of them was any good this tutorial , is an awesome one from Nancy of Red Leaf DigiScrapping. It is actually in Youtube, but she has some awesome other tutorials on her blog. After doing the torn paper one I found that she also had a background picture one! WOOHOO I am in LUCK! So I checked it out! Once again, the only tutorial I could use!!

So here is the page!!! What do you think????

What I got done today 041709

Today our chat room was out of commission so this morning was spent trying to find another chat room for everyone to use and it just wasn't working. It wasn't until 1pm when I actually started scrapping.

The first order of business was to complete my March 2010 calendar page. Each year my sisters and I do a calendar for the grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc. We each have 3 months to complete. My months for this year are March, July and November. My goal for this year is to have them done at least by November first. So, of course for March, I decided to do a St. Patricks theme with our pictures from this year. I will do the same with July because for 4th of July we will be in Idaho at the HUGE fireworks display. November I will do sometime during the year of just family pictures I think.
These are the March pages for our family album. Last year I did 12 pictures on the 12th of each month. However, I hated that I was taking pictures just to take pictures. I decided to just take pictures that showcased what we did during the month. If it is only 2 then it is only 2, but if it is 12 or more, then it is 12 or more! lol On the first page is the journalling for the month. The second page is all the pictures I have chosen for the month.

In addition to these pages I complete 3 1/2 pages for mine and Kevin's weight loss album. The 1/2 is because I need Kevin to type up his month in review for March and his goals for April. Then that page will be totally done (hopefully tomorrow). And I don't post those pages here as they are just for us.

I also completed a two page LO for one of my CTs. But since the kit doesn't come out until NEXT Sunday, I didn't want to post it too early and then people get confused. So watch for that post later next week.

So it looks like I got 8 1/2 pages done tonight! YAY!!!!

Purplicious Beach Kit by Cazzie's Scraps

I am on a roll today! I have gotten lots of LOs done all with Cazzie's kits. Please check out all the previous posts to see what I did and if there are any kits you might like to grab up! This last one is called Purplicious Beach. I thought I would have a hard time with the purple, but I just ended up taking the color out of my photos and I think it worked out great. What do you think?

Don't forget to look at the posts below to see the other pages I completed today!

What Boys Like kit by Cazzie's Scraps

Here is another great kit by Cazzie! A total boys kit! Love the colors and there are so many great boy elements! Check it out on her blog!

Have a Hoppy Easter by Cazzie's Scraps

So guess what?! Awhile ago I was asked to be on another CT but just couldn't do it at the time because of DH losing his job and trying to get used to working 3 days a week instead of 2. Also the other two teams I am on have slowed down to 2 kits a month instead of one a week. So that gives me a bit more time. Anyway, it is a lovely Easter kit called Have A Hoppy Easter by Cazzie Scraps. I don't have a preview of the whole kit, but there is one over on her blog! Anyway, this is what I created with the kit!! When we had gone to see my family out west for Christmas the prior year my dad showed my son how to use a paper towel roll as a telescope. My dad always calls it "One Eye Pete". Well when DS was looking for eggs he put his hand up to his eye like he was using a telescope to look for the eggs! lol So I said, "Oh do you need one eye pete?" He thought that was a great idea and ran and got it out of his toybox and used it to find the rest of his eggs! lol Also this is only the second time I have done it where you actually cut the people out of the photos and just put them on the LO. Doing 4 of them took me all afternoon to do!!! lol I will get better, but right now I don't feel the quality isn't the absolute best, but I couldn't stand to take any longer to make them look really good! lol

And here is the second set of pages I created. I think they are good and I am glad they are done, but I don't love these like I do the ones above! lol The kit has so many different elements that I tried to use as many as I could between the two pages!

So hop on over to Cazzie's blog and get this kit for yourself!!!
