Yep, I participated in another Speed Scrap. I only found out it was going on 10 mins before it started! lol But I was all over it. It was a bit more difficult than I thought it would be, but I managed I think to make it turn out great.
Here is the instructions:
STEP 1: Find 6 papers - two solids and 4 patterned
STEP 2: Pick one picture- this picture must have only one person it it.
STEP 3: Use a solid paper for your background. Take one of your prints and make it slightly smaller. Place this paper in one of the corners so you only have a border showing on two sides. Crop your picture into a square. Take 4 of your papers and matte your pictures with those papers using the one remaining solid which should be directly behind the picture.
Step 4: Place your picture (with the mattes) on the lower half of your page partially hanging off the paper. Create some type of cluster that goes along the bottom of your picture. Mine is a vine with flowers.
STEP 5: Find one ribbon, one ric rac, one string, and one other element (button, flower, mine is a bird, etc....) and place them opposite corner on the top of the page from your picture about 1" in kind of overlapping and so they hang down a couple of inches.
STEP 6: Use an Alpha and place the first initial of the person in the picture and attach it somehow to the upper corner of your picture. Mine is connected with a bow.
STEP 7: In a bigger handwritten font, type the persons name somewhere on your layout with the date under it (smaller font). Mine is just the year, not the whole date.

It's a Boy Thing collab kit. I used pieces from Rustic Charms' portion, Here a Scrap, There a Scrap's portion, and Kat's Creations' portion.
