This week I made our pillowcase sets as complete as they are going to be for the time being. I finished that USA pillowcase (the same as the last one I completed last week). I spoke to my MIL about the problem I was having and her suggestion was to lengthen the stitch length. So instead of 12 I went for a 9. Worked like a charm! Thanks Mom! :-) So that USA pillowcase got done.
Then yesterday I completed this Patriotic pillowcase. Tye is trying to claim it as his, but he has another thing coming as it is MINE! lol It is heart shaped flags!!! Isn't it cute??? I actually have enough to make a second one so maybe down the road the USA one can be someone else's and I can make one for him.

Now the only one not done is Thanksgiving. Kevin and I both have Thanksgiving ones, but Tye does not. The problem is I don't have any Thanksgiving material left. So I went to both Walmart and Joann's hunting for some. But the lady at Joanns told me they won't get it in until JULY! UGH! So, as I said, the project is as done as it is going to get for the time being. I will finish the last pillowcase in July. I also thought I might try to make a "school" themed one too for September for when Tye starts school each year. But that will also happen in July or whenever I can get it on sale.
But I DID get the material for the quilts! So I guess that goal will carry over until next month and I will make sure I get them done in April!
